I’ve always been drawn to the quiet corners—the places where feeling lives just beneath the surface. As a child, I found myself lingering at the art table long after everyone else had moved on, lost in the colors, the lines, the calm. Long before I had the words, I had a paintbrush.
Art became my way through everything I didn’t know how to say—love, joy, fear, grief, transformation. And over time, I realized: it wasn’t just my way through—it was my way in. Into who I am. Into what I feel. Into the truth I carry.
My work is intuitive. I trust that if I lead with feeling, the art will reveal itself. I believe that’s true of life, too. My art is made for reflection, growth, and healing.
For me, art is about honoring what’s real, even when it hurts. Especially then.
Each collection I create is a chapter—a timestamp on my story, and often, others’ stories too. From the beauty of motherhood, to the ache of loss,my paintings hold space for all of it. The messy, the beautiful, the becoming.
Corinne Yancone is a full time fine artist and a resident of Rochester, New York.
I received my BFA in illustration at Rochester Institute of Technology and since then have started my own business, Corinne Yancone Fine Art. I paint live at weddings and special events and also enjoy creating vibrant florals and landscapes to inspire and lift the spirits of those around me. I am a mother, painter and dancer. Through color, texture, and intuition, I explore the emotional depth of life—grief, joy, love, and everything in between. Each painting is a reflection of what it means to be human: imperfect, evolving, and beautifully real.
My values are:
Freedom
I create space to feel fully, create freely, and live without limits. Freedom is the pulse of my work—the quiet permission to be exactly as you are.
Movement
My art, like life, is always becoming. Emotion flows, color shifts, and energy pulses through each brushstroke like breath through the body.
Truth
My art is born from emotional honesty. Nothing forced, nothing hidden—just the raw, unfiltered beauty of what’s real.
Intuition
I trust my feelings to lead, letting each brushstroke reveal what cognitive thought never could.
Emotional Expression
This is where feelings become form. My art speaks the language of joy, ache, wonder, and grief—the full spectrum of life’s emotion, in full color.
Connection
My art invites you inward. Each piece is a mirror, offering a quiet moment of recognition—where you see yourself, your story, your feeling—reflected back in color and form.
The eclectic style of the fine artist has evolved since traveling with ArtWave, a company that promoted her artwork over seas on Azamara Luxury Cruises. After traveling as an artist in residence on the cruise ship, Yancone returned to Rochester and found her love for live painting during wedding events. She enjoys painting for an audience to see because it gives them an opportunity to immerse themselves in her artistic process. Corinne enjoys live painting at weddings because she loves celebrating her couples with a cherished original painting and she enjoys the cheerful nature of the environment that weddings bring.
