Modena at dusk — what a treat.

We walked through Modena looking for the perfect spot for a late night dinner. My mom insisted that we visit the spot that she and my dad had dined at years ago. As we waited for her memory to return to her, we walked down colorfully lit streets and gazed at all the welcoming restaurants that caught our eye.

To my disbelief, my mom shouted with excitement, “ZELMIRA!” as her nostalgia of her favorite restaurant returned. We all laughed and were very relieved because we were QUITE hungry ;) “Zelmira” was an incredible evening. What made it so special? The delicious dessert, of course— vanilla ice-cream, strawberries and vinegar — absolutely phenomenal.
